These sweet and tangy crockpot meatballs are an easy crowd-pleaser for parties, game day, or a simple weeknight dinner. They simmer in a flavorful honey BBQ sauce until hot, coated, and ready to serve.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, honey, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and stir gently to coat evenly.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, stirring once or twice if possible.
Once the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is thickened, serve warm directly from the crockpot.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 20 to 30 minutes of cooking. You can also keep the meatballs on the warm setting for serving at parties.
