These easy and delicious peanut butter cookies require just three ingredients and are perfect for a quick treat.
Equipment
Mixing bowl
baking sheet
Oven
parchment paper
fork
Ingredients
1
cup
creamy peanut butter
1
cup
granulated sugar
1
large
egg
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Stir until the mixture is well combined and forms a dough.
Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, portion the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Press down gently on each ball with the back of a fork to create a crisscross pattern on the top of each cookie.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly crackled.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use creamy peanut butter. Avoid natural peanut butter as it may affect the texture of the cookies.
