  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in dark, milk, and white chocolate chips.
  7. Use a cookie scoop to drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
