Instructions
In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture is smooth and no lumps remain.
If desired, gently fold in sprinkles or chocolate chips for added texture and flavor.
Microwave the mug cake on high for 60-90 seconds, or until the cake has risen and the center is set. Avoid overcooking.
Carefully remove the mug from the microwave (it will be hot) and let the cake cool for 1-2 minutes before enjoying.
Notes
